Argentina: Strange Object Photographed over Parque Urquiza, Paraná

A resident of Paraná photographed his daugter near Danza de la Flecha. Imagine his surprise when upon enlarging the photo, he saw a strange object in it. Sources from the Oro Verde Observatory say that they will look into the case.

Only days ago, Miguel Angel Osuna went to Paraná's Parque Urquiza to take a picture of his daughter, who will be turning 15, in order use the mural as an image upon which party guests can leave their signatures and best wishes for the birthday girl.

The family chose the rock quarries located near Danza de la Flecha as a background, using the modern architecture of the Maran Suites & Towers Hotel as a backdrop.

They were astonished to learn, upon enlarging the image at a photo shop, that they had taken a picture of an unidentified flying object (UFO). In the image's background, to the right, it is possible to see a small point that raises suspicions upon being enlarged.

In an interview with Elonce TV, Osuna said that "the fellow [at the photo shop] told us there was a strange object in the photograph that was neither a helicopter nor an airplane." The photo was taken on October 21 around 17:00 hours.

Osuna used a digital camera and his father a professional one; the UFO appears in the photograph taken with the first device.

When consulted, Mariano Peter, with the Oro Grande Observatory, pointed out that "whenever strange things are seen in the sky, people ask us. We haven't received any queries up to now." Nonetheless, he stated that the original image

should be analyzed to ascertain that it was indeed a physical object, and its type. In this regard, he noted that if anyone saw something unusual on the date that the photo was taken, they should approach the observatory to discuss it.

Mexico: UFOs Over Tamaulipas
By Ana Luisa Cid

Since October 22, 2008 to date there have been numerous UFO sighting reports emerging from the Mexican state of Tamaulipas. The most significant of these are the ones recorded in Ciudad Madero, Tampico and Rio Bravo.

The state’s Direccion de Proteccion Civil (Civil Defense) has received phone calls from witnesses that are now exceed 50 reports.

Desde el 22 de octubre, a la fecha, han sido múltiples los reportes de avistamientos en el estado de Tamaulipas (México).

The “Hechos” news program on Television Azteca made the first images known, corresponding to a video recorded by Mrs. Liliana Vazquez

According to the news report, on October 24, 2008, during a ceremony conmemorating United Nations Day , students and teachers of the Venustiano Carranza school in Tampico saw three white spheres in the sky. They argued over whether they were balloons or UFOs, although one student said that the objects resembled “two joined plates”. Parents were also present during the event, and it was one of them – Mrs. Vazquez – who videotaped the event.

The same newscast reported that it would conduct an investigation to find out if a private company had launched helium balloons that morning.

Moreover, Mr. Jose Alonso Galicia Fabela, a resident of Rio Bravo, documented the transti of a sphere that appeared to be on a helicopter’s flight path. This recording is dated October 27, 13:30 hours.

The witness says that he was following the helicopter with his camcorder when he suddenly saw the spherical object, which moved from south to north.

While both videos appear to show the same thing, it should be noted that the cities where they were recorded are quite distant from each other. Rio Bravo is in northeastern Tamaulipas, while Tampico is toward the southeast.

ARGENTINA: La Rioja UFO Witness Suffers Facial Paralysis

Man reports seeing three UFOs in La Rioja and experienced facial paralysis; says that event “changed his life” affecting him not only psychologically but also physically.

Witness claims seeing three UFOs over the locality of Villa Castelli; experience left him with “facial paralysis”

Fernando Guerrero, who was intensely sought after by news media throughout Argentina, stated on radio that he has been feeling “very strange” since he saw the strange phenomenon.

The event took place on Saturday, October 25, when Guerrero, who drives the only ambulance owned by that community of La Rioja, reached his place of work in fear and told his co-workers what he had seen.

As he drove the ambulance from Villa Union toward neighboring Villa Castelli, he became aware of a significant increase in the light coming from the cell phone he was using at the moment.

“It’s going to burn up.” That was the first thought that crossed his mind, adding that the CD he was listening to at the time “suddenly stopped, and a loud squealing sound could be heard.”

At that moment three objects moved along in the sky. The privileged witness did not doubt to use his cellphone to capture the image.

“I immediately used my phone to take a picture of them, it was lovely, a real spectacle,” the driver told his co-workers, who ultimately chose to report it to the local print media.

Now, Guerrero decided to speak to the press for the first time, insisting over and over that he feels “different” and explains that since the dramatic close encounter, half of his face is numb, exactly in the parietal region where he was struck by the “powerful light” by the Unidentified Flying Object.

“The part of my head that was exposed to the light when the UFO appeared now feels numb and hot,” said the man, who refused to say if he received phone calls from scientists and researchers.

It emerged that researchers had tried to get in touch with the witness to the phenomenon to glean details of the sightings as part of the search for new eyewitness accounts for UFO events in this region.

The two latest cases occurred on April 14 and 15, when tourists visiting Quebrada del Condor in Tupungato, Mendoza, and residents of the Riojan department of Arauco, respectively, claimed seeing strange objects in the sky.

Argentina: Experts To Analyze the Strange Geometrical Prints in Chicoana

Signs appeared in three wheat fields after a series of UFO sightings over the area on October 23, 2008

The Municipality of Chicoana announced that specialists will be asked to analyze the strange marks that appeared last Thursday in three local wheat fields and which are popularly attributed to the landing of a fleet of Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) during the early hours of that day.
Dozens of witnesses say that the night before the discovery of the circular and rectangular markings, over a meter deep, they were able to see spectacular flashed of light described as a wonderful light show.
“For the time being, we have asked the Salta Volunteer Fire Deaprtment to bring a ladder that will enable us to photograph the mysterious marks from above, since we are unable to make out their shape from the ground, due to a lack of perspective,” said Rafael Romano, secretary of state of the community, to El Tribuno. Romano is the brother of the local intendent.
The official remarked that “with such images, we will be able to aske advice to have experts study them and tell us what the figures that were stamped in three wheat fields are. We have no explanation at all about them.”

Moreover, there was an incessant traffic of curiosity-seekers to this community, located 35 kilometers south of the capital, interested in seeing the indentations, which are reminsicent of the theatrical potboiler “Signs” directed my M. N. Shyamalan, starring Mel Gibson, who plays a farmer who finds very strange geometric designs in his crops, which he later ascertains are the work of alien invaders.

The “Chicoana Signs” appared in three fields, 8 to 10 kilometers equidistant from the other. Local residents claim having seen flashes of colored light during the evening which could not be taped or photographed because cellphones and cameras did not operate while the phenomenon occured.

The number of visitors to one of the premises with strange markings (at the entrance to the town) was such that local radio journalist Fernanda Vega of FM Tradicion asked people over the air “not to trespass the fields, as they may damage the crops.”
Nothing else is being talked about in the area, and people are hopeful for an encore of last Thursday’s sightings.

Argentina: Fleet of UFOs Allegedly Landed in Chicoana
By Jaime Barrera

Strange, deep marks left on three wheat fields. Hundred of witnesses reported the event to the police, but law enforcement gave it little importance.

The marks left on the fields measure nearly one meter deep and are geometrical in shape.

A series of strange geometric marks – circular and rectangular – allegedly left behind by UFOs that landed on three wheat fields in Chicoana: at Quebrada de Tilian, to the south of the community; at Pulares, to the west, and next to the Las Mesitas Camp Ground to the north. They have become the great mystery of this community in Valle de Lerma, 35 kilometers south of the capital.

The prints appear to have been made by the “legs” of enormous structures and were seen at dawn last Thursday, after an evening that to hundreds of witnesses was “unreal” because they were able to see “strange lights dancing” above the fields in question, although “at a given moment, they stopped their nearly-erratic movements and remain suspended at low altitude for a considerable amount of time, after which they took off and vanished over the horizon.” This was the description given by perplexed and astonished Raul Martinez, a local resident from San Cayetano, two miles from the Las Mesitas Campground and of one of the wheat fields that was marked with the peculiar cracks.

“We saw the first lights with my son around 3 a.m. and tried to film them, but curiously, our cellphones stopped working, as though they had no batteries in them. It was a wild succession of flashing colors that died down and appeared to form part of an enormous framework. I saw this phenomenon for five minutes. Later, whatever landed on the field, the source of the flashes, took off and went away at an astonishing speed. Our cellphones worked normally after that,” explained Martinez.

Moreover, students from the Maria Valdivieso Rural School #588 in Villa Fanny, at Quebrada del Tilian, seven kilometers south of Chicoana, also witnessed the phenomenon, which took place at a considerable distance from the northern accessway to the locality. Its characteristics were nearly identical. “We tried to phone the police to report what was happening, but our cellphones wouldn’t work.”

“The spectacle lasted around five minutes and no one could record the images because our cameras weren’t working,” said another student. The next day, they discovered the same geometric shapes in one of the wheat fields.

But that wasn’t all: six kilometers west of Chicoana, in the vicinity of Pulares, locals also claimed having seen a light show that took place during the same span of time and at the same hour. A seal identical to the other two was left behind here. Impressions measuring a meter or more in depth and of equally unexplained origin.

It is interesting to note that the vertexes of the three “affected areas” can form an isosceles triangle, so to speak. At the triangle’s heart can be found the infamous La Candelaria and El Antigal mountains, the scene of three fatal air accidents, all of them caused by unexplained systems failures.

The Villa Fanny shelter school has 100 students. That night, 80 of them were present and all claim having witnessed the luminous phenomenon. Neighbors of the little school say that animals hid when the lights manifested, even though no noise was heard.

Residents of Chicoana as well as numerous tourists pulled up in their cars on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday to photograph and look at the strange marks that were left on the wheat field located next to the access road to the town.

Federico Arnaldo Gutierrez, a technician with Nortevision Satelital, a local TV station, was one of the few who crossed the barbed wire fence and inspected the marks. “It’s very odd. The soil looked like something extremely heavy had landed on it. Wheat was flattened but not cut. There were no signs of burning or anything similar, only the geometrical marks.”

Graciela, a biology instructor who also arrived with her camera to take pictures of the figures left behind in the fields, remarked: “This area has a wealth of strange phenomena and UFO sightings. Remember that over the past 15 years three aircraft plummeted from the sky and in all cases, the reasons were the same. Their instruments stopped working, just like what happened to those who saw the colored lights on Thursday morning and tried to photograph them, but couldn’t because their instruments didn’t work.”

Authorities with the Chicoana Sheriff’s Department did not comment. One law enforcement officer, who asked to remain anonymous because “I’m about to issue a personal opinion that shouldn’t be construed as an official story” informed El Tribuno that many remarks “had indeed been received about the situation, but no one wants to make a written complaint. In my opinion, all of these marks are the result of wind and rain.”

However, after consulting the weather bureau, there was no precipitation or strong wind during previous days or on the days that the events occurred. And should this be the case, why were the marks only on three wheat fields and not all of them, which can be found in the hundreds?

José Silva, principal of School 558, whose students witnessed the events, ventured an opinion: “I’ve lived here for ten years and had never seen marks like this. I reject the possibility that they were caused by nature or made by someone. It’s weird, very weird.”

Children living in the shelter also told El Tribuno that those of them with cellphones, and who saw the lights, tried to take pictures and couldn’t. “My aunt,” said Pedro, 13, “lives near the school and has a video device. The same thing happened to her. It didn’t work, as though its batteries had run out.”

Silva adds: “I never saw anything like it. If people are saying that the prints were produced by the lights, let’s be clear about one thing: lights are weightless,” concludes the principal.

MEXICO: More UFO Reports from Tamaulipas
By Diana Alvarado, newsroom

CIUDAD MADERO, TAMAULIPAS – Over 18 calls have been received at the office of Civil Defense in recent days as citizens report having seen unidentified flying objects (UFOS) accordint to the director of this agency in Ciudad Madero on the Gulf of Mexico.

Roberto Chavez Ortega, Director of Civil Defense, reports that the calls began last Wednesday as several people walked along Playa Miramar, where they claimed to see the UFOS.

”In the past 4 days people have been making calls of this nature, claiming UFO sightings, but we haven’t perceived or seen anything at all. As of Friday, there were 18 calls, but nothing has been confirmed,” he said, adding: “Calls have also been received over the weekend at our offices.”

He added that this is not the first time such a thing has occured in the municipality, which faces the Gulf of Mexico. The majority of these sightings have taken place in the Miramar Beach area, close to an area known as “El Tortuguero”

Reports have been recieved from the municipality of Altamira as well. Some motorists saw “white orbs that moved very quickly” near Avenida de la Industria.

This region of Taumalipas has a urban legend that suggests the existence of an underwater base in the Gulf of mexico, which keeps hurricanes from affecting Tampico, Altamira and Ciudad Madero.

Mexico: UFO Reported Over Runway 5, MCIA
By Ana Luisa Cid

According to a report from researcher Alfonso Salazar, an unidentified flying object was reported on October 16, 2008 at 16:15 hours over Runway 5 Left of Mexico City International Airport, very close to the El Penon hill.

"It was disk-shaped and very shiny, reflecting the sun's light...the unknown object was flying over the runway just as a Fokker 100 belonging to Mexico's Click Airlines was taking off," according to witnesses.

Estimates place the UFO at an altitude of 150 meters, highlighting the fact that it moved up and down with irregular movements.

A few minutes later, it headed toward the southern area of the airport in question. The weather was sunny with a few clouds. Witnesses include Daniel Hernandez, Jose Camacho Cuevas, Jose Alvarez and researcher Alfonso Salazar Mendoza himself, all of them aircraft mechanics.

"José Camacho took out his camera, but there was no chance to record it," explains Alfonso Salazar.

Mexico: Another UFO Videotaped Over MCIA

Mexico: Another UFO Videotaped over MCIA
By Ana Luisa Cid

On Monday October 6, Lic. Daniel Sanchez Rosales documented a sighting from the city's Moctezuma District close to Mexico City International Airport.

According to his story, it involved a very strange object that changed shape and even drained the batteries on his camcorder (a Sony DCR-TRV19).

Eyewitness account follows:

"Ever since I taped the UFO at the parade I've kept an eye on the heavens with my camera at ready should anything come about. It turns out that that day I wasn't paying attention, rather, I was preparing a bucket of cement because

we're doing repairs on part of the house. Even though I didn't have my glasses on, a powerful brightness reached me from the sky -- an intense glow. Then I looked up and saw a sphere."

I honestly wasn't planning to record it. It was a classic white sphere and I already have many videos like this one. Furthermore, finishing the job was more important. But something gave me pause and I changed my mind."

I went to get my camcorder leisurely. In fact, I took photos first and then shot video. I never thought that it [the sphere] would do such strange things. Not only did it change shape and color, it also drained my battery charge. I had 45
minutes and shortly after, the low battery indicator appeared."

I'm convinced that UFOs occupy the air corridors, I don't know why. But it's easy to see them out where I live, which is near the airport. I've seen them come close to airliners. Many times the spheres become small or vanish as the plane goes by, and then resume their original shape."

I'll remain vigilant to any future events, and I'm certain that UFO manifestations will continue in this area."

Video fragment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=loLL3SDDHxU

Remarks: On October 4 I was given another UFO recording near the airport. One can conclude that the phenomenon is recurring in the eastern part of the Mexican capital. Daniel Sanchez's recording reminds me of a personal experience,

when I saw a triangular object picking up a sphere from the hill. The final images in both videos have a certain similarity

Argentina: A Strange Incident from 2002

Argentina: A Strange Incident from 2002
By Luis Burgos, Fundacion Argentina de Ufologia

The world UFO community is about to hear of one of the most disconcerting episodes involving UFO sightings. It just so happens that whe we started investigating the incident “on site’ in July 2002 with the entire team of the Fundacion Argentina de Ovnilogia, we never imagined the ramifications that this case would have. In fact, our first point of contact with the Ugarte Police Barracks, through Sergeant Reinoso, was to glean more information on the sighting that had taken place on July 4 that year and involved Officer Aragones. At the time, we were deeply involved in cattle mutilation research. It was therefore obvious that aside from the UFO sighting, we wanted to know if any cattle mutilations had taken place in that part of Western Buenos Aires Province. And therein lay our first surprise. On June 14 and 15 of that year, there had been, in fact, a mutilation at Estancia Benavidez, only a few kilometers from the town. A calf had been found under the electrical wires, having been taken – incredibly – from one pen to be deposited in another. Beneath the animal we found the unmistakable “iron filings” (gathered with a magnet) which we have so often discovered at UFO landing sites.

A mysterious light had flown over the farm the night before, and had been seen by Don Francisco, the owner, and members of his family.
In this order of affairs, while on the phone with police personnel at 18:30 hours on July 17, 2002, we were informed of what had been going on in the area both UFO and mutilations-wise. But the best was still to come. Two hours later, an urgent phone call apprised us that a UFO was again involved in maneuvers in the vicintiy of Ugarte and that local residents and policemen alike had taken to the road to get a better view. Until midnight that night, our contact, Sergeant Reinoso, euphorically confirmed not only the transit of the object, but the fact that Ricardo Hector Labaronnie, one local, had managed to obtain an excellent recording. At that time, all of the community was in an uproar and the regional press gave the incident considerable coverage, including “La Razon” in Chivilcoy, “La Mañana” in 25 de Mayo and televison channel 3 also in 25 de Mayo.

But the Ugarte case was not over. It was only starting.
Gobernador Ugarte is a typical rural community in Buenos Aires Province, located on Route 51 between the cities of Chivilcoy and 25 de Mayo, the community to which it belongs. With little more than 300 inhabitants, it is 270 kilometers distant from La Plata and 200 kilometers from Capital Federal. It is here that Ricardo Labaronnie, 32, lives with his wife and two children. The rest of his family – parents, sister and nieces – were witnesses to the events. Ricardo works for the Cooperativa Electrica and is in charge of dealing with power outages in the town, and it was his Sony 360 camera that captured the images. To date, he has already recorded some forty enigmatic lights of varyious shapes and sizes, engaged in different manuevers, at different times. But the true epicenter of the sightings is “La Esperanza”, a farm some 3 kilometers to the east. The owners, Laura and Adrian, a fine couple from Mendoza, live there with their four children and are also witnesses to the “transit of the lights”. It is safe to say that “everything goes through La Esperanza”. It’s very a nearly an airport with a control tower, where airplanes – in this case, the astonishing lights – ascend, descend and land. It was from here that we conducted our nightly sky watches with the Labaronnie family and the couple from Mendoza. There is something special about the farm beyond Laura and Adrián’s experiences or Ricardo’s videos. Here, in the solitude of the countryside, the researcher discovers the background information on the phenomenon:

A. Pine and Eucalyptus trees: on August 23, 2002, a strange “cloud” parked itself over the pine trees at the entrance to the farm, an event recorded by Ricardo. 48 hours later, one of the pine trees is completely dessicated from its tip to its base.
B. Dense forest: On repeated occasions, powerful flashes of light tend to be seen within and without the forest. A phenomenon of this type was witnessed by FAO members Nelson Polanco and Diego Sanchez, along with Ricardo, at midnight on February 22, 2003.
C. Windmills, “Australian” water tanks and ponds: On July 2002, water was found missing not only from the tank but also from the swimming pool.
D. Railroad lines: The town is bordered by train tracks and the intrepid lights were also reported in their vicinity.
E. Lagoons: There are dozens, and the presence of lights in some of them is striking. When drawing conclusions, it would also be essential to point out the proximity of the Salado River some 8 km northwest of the town. A large part of the luminous phenomenon begins there or vanishes there.
F. Electric grid: High-tension wires pass behind the farm and a 13,000 volt terminal is located inside the premises.

Delving deeper into the investigation, we learned that there is a long history of interference by “unidentifieds” in Ugarte and the surrounding towns and cities. What is truly startling is that the phenomenon was already active in “La Esperanza” in early decades: the law stating that “UFOs tend to return to sighting locations, wheteher its days, months or years later” seems to operate here, and this constitutes the basis for our Decimal Hypothesis, a predictive method. Around 1982, the former owners reported the presence of “two small entities that suddenly manifested in a bedroom” (bedroom visitors) coinciding with the discovery of three circular impressions located by the entrance, in the field where numerous sightings occur. According to Laura, strange UFO activity began around February 2000, when they took over the farm, although the cases boomed in April 2001. Sightings having these characteristics have also occurred in the town.

In the mid 1950s, personnel from the San Jose del Socorro farm, located between Ugarte and 25 de Mayo, noticed the surprising apparition of several circular impressions near a eucalyptus forest.
In 1971, around 06:30 a.m., 12-year-old Walter Villegas (who is Ricardo Labaronnie’s current brother-in-law) witnessed the low altitude flyby of a strange flying object, an event corroborated by other boys in the Ugarte school. In the mid-1990s a local claimed having been “taken aboard a spacecraft” and remarked about the abduction and the marks on his arms. In 1997, another local resident, who preferred to remain anonymous, mentioned the “sudden appearance of bizarre entities in his home.”

There is no question that if we add related information to these reports, we can see that regional folklore is plainly at work with events of all kinds. But there was, in this region of Buenos Aires Province, a significant event that constitutes a milestone in Argentinean Ufology: The Indacochea Indentation, dating from the early 1940s, when the word “flying saucer” didn’t exist. Indacochea is a small community in Chivilcoy, located little more than ten kilometers north of Ugarte. Here, on a rural road, “two horseshoe-shaped indentations measuring 12 meters each, arranged vertically but with their open ends to the left and right, respectively, were stamped on the ground, with their dirt edges blackened. They endure to this very day in spite of local traffic and rainfall.” Evidently, such a long-lasting contrast with the soil would point to the intensely high degree of combustion to which the surface was subjected at the time. The Indacochea Indentation, in the light of contemporary UFO landing phenomena, are perhaps the first of their kind in the world, and among the most enduring. Only in Magdalena, Buenos Aires Province, did we find a “greened horseshoe” that remained intact from 1970 to 1990. Since then, all of the area surrounding Ugarte was populated by all kinds of “close encounters” , as we can see from our unique and exclusive Argentinean Data Bank (From 1816 to 2003):
3 cases involving “landing marks”
2 cases involving “mothership sightings”
1 probable “abduction case”
4 cases involving “entities”
5 cases containing photographs
3 periods of “unidentified aerial activity”
Perhaps this may be crucial when making evaluations, since we have reports of two similar periods of [intense mutilation activity] to a lesser extent. From February to March 1999, the strip along Route 5 between Chivilcoy and Bragado produced numerous reports; from 1976 to 1977, local research groups like CICECH (Centro Investigador de Cuerpos Extraños de Chivilcoy) and Control Cielo in 25 de Mayo received reprots. Ugarte, by sheer chance, is located within this “triangle”. In closing, and as a corroboration to our Decimal Hypothesis, we find:
02-07-63 A “cigar” type mothership in Alberti
02-83 A “blue cloud”type mothership in L. Monteverde
1982 Bedroom visitors and three indentations in Ugarte
06-02 UFO activity kicks off in Ugarte
03-04-99 The 4 UFO “rendezvous” in Chivilcoy
03-04-99 “Ghost” photo taken with UFO activity in full swing.

Cattle Mutilations in the Region

In spite of the fact that some ufologists associate the transit of “two cloud-shaped UFOs” over several provinces on April 1, 2002 as the start date of the mutilation wave, with its first incident on April 4, we have still not been able to relate on event with another, involving the 27 cases of “cloud-shapes” or “smoke columns” that we have had in this country since 1967. Even so, nothing can be dismissed from a ufological standpoint. A mutilated calf was reported in May [2002] in the town of Achupallas, located 6 kilometers north of Ugarte, and three animals the next month in Chivilcoy. In Ugarte itself we attested 4 other mutilation cases, two of them occurring “within Estancia La Esperanza...”. All of this indicates that on a property adjacent to Route 51, a case involving three mutilated bovines took place. The second event occurred, as we can see from the introduction, in a farm owned by Don Francsico on the nights of June 14-15, and perhaps the mutilation at “La Experanza” occurred on the very same date. According to Laura and Adrian, they had observed the animal behaving strangely, as though ill. They set it aside from the rest of the herd. When the animal died, not only was it mutilated, but it was removed from one pen and deposited in another, and its head was embedded in the wire fence. The farmhand who was doing his chores quit the job, turned over the keys and returned to Santa Fe. In his own words, “a violet-hued light caused the animal to fly...” (?)
Subsequently, Adrian confirms that a calf that had died of natural causes was found mutilated only days later. By the time this report was known, three cases had already occurred in Ugarte. We will continue to research this aspect of the phenomenon.

Luis Enrique Villegas was taking photos of the new Police Department Building in the town of Tlaltenango (Casa de Seguridad Publica) to the east of this city and in the vicinity of the Zacatecas Sur Technological Institute.

The witness claims to have taken over 20 shots to be used for a photo essay, adding that in only one of these images is it possible to see what could be an unidentified flying object. There is even a close-up that suggests some sort of antenna or appendix on the upper section.

By applying filters, we determined that it is an authentic image without any digital patches or alterations, aside from the fact that Luis Enrique’s credibility is widely known. It is no coincidence that he edits one of the best newspapers in the Zacatecas region.

Further information:
Sony DSC-H3 8.1 megapixel camera.
Exposure setting: Normal.
ISO Speed : 125

The witness did not see the alleged UFO. He only became aware of it hours later, upon reviewing the series of photos on his PC. Nor did he hear any sounds or buzzing that indicated [the object’s] presence in the sky.

Chile: Intraterrestrials in the Chilean Desert?

CHILE: Intraterrestrials in the Chilean Desert?
By Raul Núñez, IIEE

In Chile, according to residents of the communities of Chusmiza, Poroma and several places within the nation’s 1st region, the existence of a race of diminutive bipeds has been known and discussed in hushed tones for generations. These entities measure some15 to 17 centimeters tall and are the inhabitants of an underground realm that exists beneath the sands of the Atacama Desert. They are known to local elders as “the gentiles”

According to the Aymara Culture, anything that comes from the sky is divine and anything that comes from below is evil. This belief has prompted people from the country’s interior to avoid contact with these diminutive beings, of which they have often been wary. It is said that throughout the ages, locals have run into these “gentiles” particularly on nights of full moon, as these underground residents cannot withstand sunlight, which causes their death. Their large almond-shaped eyes are only suited for night vision.

Based on comments made by local elders, these diminutive beings were in contact with the ancient Incas and informed them of places where gold seams could be found, and this was the secret that allowed that lost empire to manage such huge quantities of the precious metal. The elders also recall that when trouble arose among the peasants, the “gentiles” would punish planters by harming their crops from below, leaving them desiccated from one day to another. It is not unusual to come across very elderly people in regions bordering Bolivia who are still afraid of these “gentiles” – moreover, long-time residents of the locality of Poroma claimed knowledge of an old mudstone citadel somewhere in the hills, far from the town, which had been abandoned for a very long time but in a perfect state of conservation, attributed to the diminutive “gentiles”

With regard to the foregoing, the strange being found in La Noria, an abandoned salt mine in the Chilean desert, and which still remains in the possession of IIEE-España for analysis, falls within this classification, according to many persons consulted to date in these distant communities of northern Chile. Is it nothing more than an old romantic legend?

Mexico: Massive Balloon Launch on September 30

Mexico: Massive Balloon Launch on September 30
By Ana Luisa Cid

According to a message sent by Lic. Efrain Guzman, hundreds of balloons were launched from various parts of the Mexican Republic on September 30, 2008.

Guzman explains that this was done at the behest of Lic. Jose Antonio Nieto as a call to attention and symbol of peaceful protest against the violence and lack of safety that Mexicans are experiencing at the present time.

The concept of a balloon launch emerged as a consequence of the terrorist attacks on September 15 in Morelia.

"Let us launch a balloon on the morning of 30 September for each of our family members or friends who have fallen prey to delinquency. This is is the name of all Mexicans and a specific political party," adds Lic. Nieto.

[This massive balloon launch will almost certainly give rise to claims of UFO sightings. We thank Ana Luisa Cid for keeping us informed - Ed.]
